The new unit is equipped with the Intelligent Lamp Control System and the innovative RoomView^TM-Software from Crestron. With this software solution the IT administrator can manage the control systems in up to 250 rooms in real-time from one central place. With its integrated 10 watt speaker and HDMI input the PLC-XU4001 is perfect for the highest quality multimedia presentation.

High brightness and intelligent lamp control system

The PLC-XU4001 produces brilliant images with a high image brightness of 4,000 ANSI lumens, generated from a 245 watt lamp, creating near perfect images in high ambient light conditions. SANYO's Intelligent Lamp Control System controls the brightness level of the lamp in accordance with the input signal being received. For darker images less lamp power is required so the brightness is automatically adjusted meaning less power is used. No matter whether the input image is bright or dark, each image is automatically projected with the exact brightness needed for a brilliant image which is rich in contrast. The XGA resolution and contrast ratio of 2000:1 help to create a detailed and contrasted colour reproduction.

Multimedia unit with HDMI and integrated speaker

With the integrated HDMI input, the PLC-XU4001 can perfectly convert digital audio and video data. With the integrated 10 watt speaker it is not necessary to add external speakers for presentations in conference centres, in school classrooms or universities. Therefore further installations and financial expense can be avoided.

Network integration and RoomView^TM

The integration via LAN in an existing network is very easy. Information concerning the operating condition of the projector can be accessed in real-time. The new SANYO projector is equipped with the Crestron RoomView^TM-Software. This software offers the possibility to integrate the projector into an existing network and to control it alongside other equipment already connected to the network.

Ease of maintenance

With the integrated long life air filter and an increased lamp life this new projector is very easy to maintain. In eco mode the lamp life is an impressive 5,000 hours. The air filter has a 5,500 hour lifetime.
