SANYO Xacti WH1 Distinguished as “European FamilyCam 2009-2010”
1 September, 2009 – The Xacti Dual Camera success story continues! Once again, with the Xacti VPC-WH1, an SD-camcorder from SANYO has been distinguished with the prestigious EISA-Award. As winner in the “European FamilyCam 2009-2010” category, the waterproof Xacti WH1 may be counted among the best electronic devices of the year.
Experts at the European Imaging & Sound Association (EISA) emphasized the outdoor-concept and ease of use of the Xacti WH1 as factors in their decision. Exceptionally robust, by means of a waterproof and dustproof enclosure, this compact camcorder is perfect for families who want to record their most memorable vacation experiences.
Suitable for use underwater to a depth of three meters, the Xacti WH1 can capture the most vivid impressions of Neptune’s Kingdom in detailed HD-video in 720p (1280 x 720p, 320fps) or as a 2 megapixel photo. Other technical features, such as the 30x optical zoom, accentuate distant vistas. The videos and images are stored on SD or SDHC cards (compatible up to 32 GB).
The European Imaging & Sound Association (EISA) has been in existence since 1982. Today, 53 leading trade journals in more than 20 European countries belong to this organisation.
